Yoga for Children

This is our ‘quiet time’. Children benefit from early use of their imagination and intuition in creative visualisation and meditation exercises. Yoga exercises help children stretch and relax, and discussions at this time centre on the virtues and other introspective topics.

Yoga for children is fun and creative with fitness exercise routine. It is mostly practiced in many Ananda Marga Schools all over the world.

Breathing relaxation and meditation exercises are taught. The daily practice of yoga leads to children becoming more balanced and centred and they gain more self-confidence. As it makes children relaxed and composed, yoga helps them develop self-awareness and assists them to deal with daily life pressures. The advantages of the yoga program benefit both teachers and children, as well as the preschool environment.
